
Hi! My name is Pronit Roy, but I go by Olu, and I'm a 4th year industrial design student from Georgia Tech who loves making things and exercising my creativity. My curious nature drives me to always be creating, researching, and exploring various avenues of art and design that interest me. I'm particularly interested in the ways that art and design intersect, and how this work can impact peoples' lives.
Before I found out about industrial design, I wanted to be an electrical engineer, so I have a background in robotics (especially Arduino based systems), circuitry, and computer programming (including languages such as Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and C++).
Thanks to my design education, I also have experience in areas from graphics and branding to UI/UX to physical products ranging from soft goods to furniture. When it comes to the design process, I particularly enjoy generating ideas, rapid prototyping, and 3D modeling.
Other than this, I love food, music, animals (especially dogs), print media, and trips to museums. I also like keeping my creative muscles active by drawing and making things with my hands (such as Legos).
