Overview:
This DIY Bird Feeder Kit aims to teach children ages 7+ a variety of STEM and assembly / fine motor skills.
At the same time, this kit encourages kids to learn about local birds and promotes a general interest in the
outdoors and nature – something that is quite unique for STEM kits, which otherwise mainly promote indoor
play and learning.

The bird feeder kit includes a camera, solar panel, and WiFi connectivity which allows it to record birds feeding and transmit photos and videos. This feature is intended to get kids interested in nature and local wildlife, and also allow them to continue interacting with their STEM kit even after they have fully built it – something that is often lacking from other similar products.
