Overview:
The PorchBag is an expandable parcel security bag that is designed to be tethered to a permanent fixture on the front of one’s house and protect packages that get delivered from opportunistic ‘porch pirates’. The bag’s lid with flaps and lift-to-expand design, make it very simple for delivery drivers to use, while also making it very difficult for thieves to steal from. Some of the features that help keep packages secure include the zipper lock, the smart locking lid, the tough nylon fabric with stainless steel slash-proof lining, the steel cable tether, and the tamper alarm. If the PorchBag’s tether is cut and the whole product is taken, there is even still a chance that it can be recovered because each PorchBag has built-in Bluetooth tracking.
Overall, the PorchBag is designed to be a less-invasive and more stylish alternative to current parcel-securing products on the market (many of which can be an eyesore on peoples’ front porches)– but beyond style, it is also packed full of security features to ensure the best protection of peoples’ packages from potential thieves.
